hundred thousand welcomes to our website! I’m Leanne Burroughs, Highland Press
Publishing’s CEO, and I’d like to welcome you to our site! We’re a growing
family at Highland Press, all dedicated to giving our readers quality fiction.
To that end, our goal is to bring our customers great books by outstanding
writers!
One of our foremost goals is to give our readers
historical novels that contain actual history. We know the audience is out there
for this type of book, and hope to bring this beloved format back to our
readers.
However, we don’t only produce historicals. We’re
accepting submissions from every genre except erotica. In addition to our
historicals, we've published numerous award winning anthologies, several young
adult fantasies, our first non-fiction writer’s reference book, our first young
adult inspirational and will soon release our first children’s illustrated book.
We’re working hard to become one of the premier
trade paperback publishers on the Internet and are currently doing some internal
restructuring. We hope you’ll grow with us and help us to reach that goal.
We offer our authors complete editing and cover art
services, and we pay royalties based on retail sales. For our customers, we have
designed an exciting website that displays our love of the Highlands, which
brought about our company name. It offers a user-friendly environment for a
positive retail customer experience.
This year Highland Press celebrated its third
anniversary. Our novels have garnered great awards and reviews and we’re proud
of our growing family of authors.
