Rachel was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska, where she read her first romance novel (A Rose in Winter by Kathleen Woodiwiss) when she was about ten. Rachel's been an avid romance reader since then, but it took her nearly twenty years to finally try to write one. Rachel currently lives in Wisconsin with her husband, daughter and cat. Rachel's story, The Christmas Curse, appears in the Holiday in the Heart Anthology.
